The Alliance Française Australia network was created to promote the French language and culture, and to encourage cultural, intellectual, and artistic exchange between Australia and the French-speaking world. In accordance with the policies of the Fondation des Alliances Françaises (Paris), each of the 30 Alliances in Australia are managed locally as an independent, not-for-profit organisation, within the laws and regulations of the country and without political or religious discrimination.
Alliance Française is a registered name of the Fondation. Any entity granted use of this name must abide by the requirements of the Fondation des Alliances Françaises, its policies and quality charter.
This Démarche qualité* presents itself as a framework for policy and procedures to guarantee a quality environment for the various missions undertaken by the network of Alliance Française in Australia. In adopting this framework, each Alliance becomes responsible for initiating a process of innovation and continual improvement of its activities.
